On a coaching call this week with a client, she mentioned people in her company who were selling $10,000 and more every month, and her questions to me was “What does a $10,000 a month look like?”

To me it’s about “hustle!”   You can sell $10,000 a month, but you first have to make the decision that you want to put in the time and do the “hustle.”

How do I know this?   In my million-dollar team, I had the top seller in the company and we put together some amazing systems  so her business would run like a well-oiled machine.

The following 3 systems were designed to help her manage her “hustle” and it resulted in her be number one in sales in the company every year.

System #1 Consistent Party system.

If you want to be a top seller two parties every week will get you there!  That means being organized with

  1. Hostess coaching
  2. Guest invitations
  3. Party Demonstration and skills

It’s about building  a BFF relationship with every hostess.  One of the best ways to partner with your  hostess is having 10 steps for the hostess to follow and in each communication make sure she  checks off each step before the party.

Getting a copy of the GUEST information is imperative. It is the #1 Hostess coaching tip I teach all my clients. I recommend having her send you the guest list within 3 days and receive a special gift. Then take that list and write hand written thank you postcards.   Yes, these are written the day before the party.  The reason?   The day after the party you pop these in the mail so the guests receive a written thank you before their products arrive.   This is about building CUSTOMER loyalty and being organized to close the party but still touch your customer with a thank you in the mail.

My top seller was so successful because she offered a spectacular, party demonstration!  This is why she had a list of hostesses wanting to invite their friends to have this experience.   She worked at making her party demonstration the BEST!  Her hostess and guests had FUN!   She made sure they learned something with her fashion tips and most of all, she made sure everyone left the party having a memorable experience.

Every party was over $1000  because she “hustled” and put in the time to insure the hostess and all her guests were happy.  She and her hostess partnered together to get the right guests to the party and everyone left that party feeling like they had a fantastic experience.

System #2 Consistent Follow-up system.

When you have a consistent high party business, it’s imperative you have a system in place for follow up.   This is basically your re-order business.  Our business was fashion, so  follow-up was about  taking orders for additional tops, bottoms and jackets to add to their purchase.  Our job was to create a 10-piece wardrobe for each customer, so she learned how to save money in her closet and we would curate a personalized wardrobe for each guest.

What type of follow-up system do you have in place?  My Customer Follow-up  binder  system is very simple.   You create a profile sheet on every customer with a record of their purchases.     This is analog, but it is very effective.  You can also create your follow-up digitally with this system .

We work with a 2-2-2 system.  Following up 2 days after the order, 2 weeks when they receive the order, and then 2 months, it’s time for re-orders.   Everything is tracked in the binder system, so you can turn to any customer profile and know exactly what she ordered, what her preferences are to add to her order and the time to follow-up.

System #3 Consistent Lead Generation system.  

When you’re selling $10,000 a month every month, you’re consistently meeting new customers and it’s important you have a system to welcome them into your business.  This is called your customer journey.

You meet new leads at parties, online and networking.  There are also other ways to generate new leads like offering workshops for groups.   Groups are always looking for guest speakers to teach them something about skin care, fashion, natural cleaning, reading for kids etc.

Set up your system to funnel your new lead into your VIP Facebook group.   This is where you share a lot of value to your customers that builds to re-orders.  Another important part of the system is to have a blog or a you tube channel.  This attracts people to want to know more about you and your products.

Lastly, one of the best ways to generate new leads is to have a very active referral system.  A NEW referral is a very strong lead and once she moves into your funnel and learns about you and your products, she becomes a loyal customer and soon a hostess.
