holiday letter graphicYou’re half way there, it’s week #5 and congratulations if your bank account reflects a savings of $500 since we began this 10 week SAVINGS challenge.

In last week’s post, I shared an extremely important tip to help you have high sales at every party with a special cheat sheet. Make sure you’re getting all the free printables I’m sharing each week to help you SAVE $100 each week for 10 weeks.

It’s NOVEMBER, and today’s post is short and sweet but I’m sharing with you a very powerful tip that will help you keep on track with making SALES every week so you are able to put that $100 into your bank account.

It’s my Holiday Letter Campaign and it’s three steps.

Step #1 Get some wonderful Holiday paper or make a lovely holiday graphic on Canva or Picmonkey.

Step #2 Write a holiday letter to ALL your customers thanking them for their business this year.

  • Begin with happy news about your business this year.
  • Thank them for their past business this year.
  • Show your appreciation by offering them a special gift certificate – I always offered $25.00. It’s an amount that could make a difference and people appreciate your generosity.
  • Share your holiday specials that help them fill up their holiday gift list
Put a date of December 1st or 15th as the deadline to redeem the certificate.
  • Let them know you’ll be contacting them.
  • Mail or Email your letter. I prefer to mail it in the snail mail as people tend to delete emails at this time of year they are so busy.

Step #3 Get organized with your follow-up

  • After you’ve sent your letter, set aside 30 minutes every day for this campaign.
  • Be prepared with order forms, calculator and catalogues handy.
  • Write a script if it makes you feel more confident.
  • Be prepared to leave a special message if you get a voice mail. Ask them if they received your special holiday gift certificate. Let them know you called, but will call later. (Remember people are busy and probably won’t call you back.)
  • Use texting with customers who are familiar with your phone number. Otherwise when people get random texts they may block your number.
  • Be prepared to take lots of orders and give your BEST SERVICE ever!

A Ripple Effect.  It’s a simple 3-step campaign that can not only bring rippleyou the holiday sales you want, it can cause a lovely ripple effect.

  • People appreciate a special holiday gift
  • Your letter shows you care about them.
  • Your help with their holiday shopping is appreciated when you help them with their gift list.
  • Your conversation might lead to inviting her to your holiday event.
  • Your conversation deepens your relationship with your customer
  • When you deepen relationships with your customers you’ll find some may be ready and open to learning more about your business opportunity
Your conversation may get around to New Year and your customer wants to book a New Year party with you.
  • Most of all, your customers get to know the real, authentic you and she will love to recommend a future customer.
