single minded focusThis MONTH in our L.E.A.P. Group coaching we are focusing on ONE BIG strategy to grow a team recruiting culture.  This is actually one of those questions I get asked a LOT from leaders. “How do you build a recruiting culture?”   The strategy I shared was a key area that increased recruiting on my own million-dollar team and made a definite impact on my income.  I’m all about helping leaders increase their income.

This ONE BIG strategy is using the technique of single-minded focus. It’s amazing what results you can get when you single-mindedly focus all your attention on just ONE strategy or ONE action plan.

Today, we live in a world of constant distraction.  We deal every day with posts, tweets and email messages that constantly interrupt or stop us from completing some of the simplest tasks.  Being entrepreneurs who pride ourselves on being our own boss, we have to learn how to prioritize tasks and stick to those tasks til they’re completed every day in our business. This is the real success we achieve when we practice single-minded focus.

For example, one of the TEAM BUILDING activities we focus on in the 6 pack party success CGCALENDAR GIRLS Team Booking system is a 6-pack of parties every month.   A 6-pack of parties every month gets the income team members want, it helps them get future bookings and it puts them in front of around 50 people to meet, observe and discover prime prospects to join their team. Leaders lead by example by holding their own 6-pack. They reward others on the team who hold a 6-pack and it’s this single-minded focus that helps leaders promote new leaders and move themselves up the ladder of leadership.

Practice Single-Minded Focus.  This week when you’re listening to a company training webinar, or you’re at a special event hearing a speaker, take good notes then choose ONE thing you learned and FOCUS on it for the next 30 days. Focus on implementing this ONE thing every day until you have a deep understanding and begin to see the results you want.

For Example, if you wanted to hold a 6-pack of parties in the next month, what tasks would you set for yourself EVERY day for 30 days?

To practice single-minded focus, create a list of those tasks to help you get those 6 parties booked on your calendar.   Here’s a few steps to help you get started.

  • Begin with scheduling the six available dates on your calendar.
  • Create a list of potential hostesses
  • Write up scripts to make you feel comfortable in asking
  • Follow the “Calendar Confidence” system in the Direct Sales planner
  • Schedule time to make calls and connect with potential hostesses
  • Give yourself a goal to achieve # steps every day to make it happen
  • Create a list of empowering words that will help you achieve the goal
  • Find ways to keep positive every day until you achieve your goal

The number one reason why single-mindedness succeeds is that you reach a level of deep understanding in your focus that makes the difference. That’s why practicing single-minded focus for the whole 30 days will help you put ALL your attention on the one thing that will pay off and create extraordinary results.
