No one told you how many hats you had to wear every week when you chose to get into the business of being a direct sales entrepreneur. When you started, you first thought about how you were going to sell your fabulous products and learn how to have a successful party.   What we don’t realize at the time is there is so much more like…

  • keeping your calendar full of bookings,
  • scheduling company and team events
  • learning about products
  • keeping up with social media
  • And, that incredible follow-up that brings a lot of fortune.

And as you know, that is just the beginning.   Here’s what I wish someone had told me..

  • #1 Pay attention to how you work best.
  • #2 Know the phrase, “What is Important now!”
  • #3 Have a solid weekly schedule.

One thing I learned in building my million-dollar team is that you have to have a SYSTEM that keeps you focused on how you work. It’s this system that helps you know what is important now, and when you follow this system it keeps you on track every week?

And that’s where the DIRECT SALES PLANNER “system” comes in. Yes, it’s a “system” that keeps you on track. When you follow the system in this planner, it makes you feel confident. You get up every morning, head to your office, because these three things, working the best way for you, knowing what’s important now, and having a weekly plan to follow is contributing to your success.

Make Every week a Power Week

There is something about achieving weekly goals using the DIRECT SALES PLANNER that has a powerful effect on the growth of your business. It’s that step-by-step approach that makes the difference in feeling CONFIDENT when you know you are definitely going to hit your target.   Here are my 4-steps to having a power week using the DIRECT SALES PLANNER

Step 1 – Sunday Night Power Planning.  The most delicious thing I love about my business is Sunday Night planning. When you create a picture of your week, you believe all things are possible. You get to decide how your week will flow from taking this 30 minute time on a Sunday every week to create a plan to feel like your life is in control. I teach my coaching clients to do three things,

  • review their accomplishments
  • Turn their obstacles into to-do steps
  • Set clear intentions going forward.

When you take the time to plan your business every Sunday, your business happens “for” you, and not “to” you.

Step 2 – Set a compelling weekly goal. When you set weekly goals you make a decision about what you want to achieve in your business. Once you’ve made that decision, you then make many little decisions within that big decision.  In the DIRECT SALES PLANNER system, setting weekly goals is imperative and compelling because it puts you on the path to achieving your bigger goals. For example, you may set a weekly goal to attain 4 recruiting conversations, which leads to your next level promotion. This ONE decision can set in motion so many more little decisions that lead to that power week, all because you made it compelling and urgent.  #myweeklygoals

Step 3 – The power of 3 Priorities ACTION ITEMS.  Writing action steps are simply taking your goal and creating a to-do list.   The place for your to-do list is under the “ACTION ITEMS THIS WEEK” space in the DIRECT SALES PLANNER weekly success page.  As you get into the rhythm of writing out this to-do list, you’ll see the ones that rise to the top for each day of the week. Write in your top three priorities for each day and watch your productivity fly! There is power in prioritizing three daily actions. It creates a rhythm, emphasizes a pattern in the brain and gets you into action like “Ready, Set, go” every day!  Would you like this feeling every day in your business?

Step 4 – A Solid Weekly Dinner Menu.   I know this sounds crazy when planning your business, but believe me when busy Moms know what’s for dinner, it gives them peace of mind. You don’t have to stop and worry “what’s for dinner.” You plan a weekly shopping list to make sure you have everything on hand. Now your mind is free to focus more on your business goals for the week. That’s why this space is available in your WEEKLY SUCCESS PLAN page in your Direct Sales Planner.

This 4-step approach to using the Weekly planner pages in the DIRECT SALES PLANNER is the “system” that helps you get back to reality when you are juggling so many other things in life.

We are all becoming really good jugglers with so much to do! However, if you are passionate about your business (as I am), you make time to plan. Planning can be a tedious process, but when you have a tool like the DIRECT SALES PLANNER, you simply sit down every SUNDAY, open your WEEKLY PLANNER SUCCESS PAGE and you begin to achieve ALL the things you want in your business.

It’s these simple four steps that help you plan a POWER week, “every” week in your business.
