This month, I offered a free call on “Getting organized with a success pattern in your direct sales business” using my 2014 Direct Sales Planner.

It was a “hot” call because I find one of the biggest problems people have is being organized in their business.   Many people find themselves scattered and overwhelmed with pieces of paper everywhere. Some people work from three or four calendars and never seem to have the right calendar at the right place at the right time. That’s why I offered this free call to share repeatable patterns that keep you  organized working with my 2014 Direct Sales Planner.  This planner is customized for direct sellers who want to track their business all in ONE PLACE.

I am so passionate about helping direct sellers get results in their business, because I know what it’s like to keep track of parties, recruiting appointments, networking schedules, follow-up calls and more.  As Entrepreneurs, we don’t have a boss to tell us what to do, we have to be proactive and figure it out on our own.  And it wasn’t until I developed my own work pattern for success using this planner that I felt more in control of my life and my business.

Once I created my success work pattern, I repeated it over and over and I taught it to my team.  I kept consistent with that work pattern until it became second nature to me every day.  And it was this pattern that helped me focus on my goals  that brought me the results I wanted. And for me, that was building a million dollar team and a 6-figure income business.

A 3-step Calendar Confidence Success Pattern  On my call this week I shared my three steps to building a calendar confidence success pattern.  Three steps are easy to remember and are easy to get yourself into a work routine, especially if you’re working with a planner that is customized just for direct sales.   Are you ready for the steps, one, two, three?

Step 1.  Get clear with your calendar using the Green Sticky Note System. Know “when” you want to work and mark your available booking dates out over three months with green sticky notes.  Sticky notes allow you to be flexible when booking. They are easy to move around. Once someone books a date, then “ink” it in as a solid booking.  When you are clear with your available dates on your calendar, train yourself to always know your next two booking dates IN YOUR HEAD!

Step 2.  Adopt the 4-week rolling calendar strategy Fill your planner with your green sticky note available dates out every four weeks.  Then, get into the habit of filling your next TWO available dates FIRST!  The goal is to fill the next four weeks of available dates FIRST!  This is how you keep your calendar full consistently.

Step 3.  Offer your next TWO available dates FIRST! This is the magic in filling the green sticky notes on your calendar.  When you ask for the booking say, “Suzie I noticed you have more products on your wish list. I’d love to help you get them for free.  My next two available dates are February 15 and 24th,  which of those might work for you?”

If these dates don’t work for her, she’ll let you know, but because you are confident with your calendar and you know your next available dates, you’ll come to a mutual agreement on a date that works for the both of you.

This week I heard from CG Academy members, and leaders in my leadership programs who tried this for the first time. They were so excited that it really worked!  Here’s the part that makes it work, when you are confident with your calendar you appear to your party guests as a successful direct seller who books exciting fun parties.  When you appear successful and confident, you attract others to you and people want to book with you!

Are you ready to create your own repeatable pattern for success?  It’s simple – follow step one, step two, step three and you’ll find you’ll keep your calendar rolling out every four weeks with consistent bookings.
