In the northern hemisphere, spring is around the corner.  The March Equinox occurs on March 20, 2013.   It marks the start of spring and has long been celebrated as a time of rebirth.

I think it’s a great time of year to rebirth your business by setting NEW intentions!  I believe when you are clear with your intentions in your business, and focus on them consistently every day, you get the rewards you want.

One of my favorite books is “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Ecker.  Harv talks about “accelerated learning” techniques that allow you to learn faster and remember more of what you learn.  He says, there’s an old saying

 What you hear, you forget

What you see, you remember

What you DO.. you understand!!

He calls it a declaration and all through the book after each chapter, he has you DECLARE your intention OUT LOUD…

When you declare it OUT LOUD, he says it carries its own vibrational frequency.   The energy vibrates throughout the cells of your body, and by touching your body at the same time, you can feel its unique resonance.  And these declarations not only send a specific message to the universe, they also send a powerful message to your subconscious mind.

A declaration of your intentions makes your ACTION PLAN official.  He recommends that you state your declarations aloud each morning and each evening.  Even do them while looking into a mirror and it will accelerate the process even more.

Is it time for you to rebirth your intentions for your business?  What would that look like?

Maybe you want to add the ONE MORE action to your business? How would you execute this intention?

  • Add one more phone call?
  • one more party?
  • one more recruiting appointment?
  • one more networking event?

If this is your NEW intention, then Declare your intention out loud.

Is it  growing 50 NEW customers?  What action plan would you create?

  • network in new areas?
  • ask for referrals at parties?
  • expect to get 2 bookings at every party?

Is it holding a recruiting appointment at least once a week?  How committed are you to this intention and what action would you take?

  • Focus on the skills of interviewing.
  • Find prospects at every party.
  • Ask for referrals?

I am such a firm believer in setting intentions and declaring them out loud!  I used this method to grow my million dollar team and taught each new leader as part of her leadership training.
