We are mid-way through the year and I hope you’re using your planner to create your success.

I know there are some people who  like to use a digital planner, but I’m definitely an analog person.  I believe when you get things down on paper and out of your head, it frees up your mind to concentrate on what you are actually doing, and not what you need to do.  Plus, for me, trying to continuously remember things reduces stress.

The big picture of seeing everything organized in my planner gives me a clear visual of how much time I have for everything I want to get done in my life.  Plus all this makes your days run smoother because you have a structure and have everything planned in advance. Given all that, here are my favorite ways to use my Direct Sales Planner

A Monthly Visual Plan. When you plan out each month you first plan and schedule your important events like

  • Life Events
  • Company Events
  • Team Events
  • Party, Vendor, Workshop events

In the Direct Sales Planner we use the Calendar Confidence system marking our available dates with Green sticky notes.  Then you learn the “Booking Love Language” that gives you confidence to ask for the booking. Having a two-page spread of your important month’s events gives you a fabulous monthly visual of everything and helps you organize your life and therefore nothing slips through the cracks.

Set three GOALS each week.  This is a habit I picked up years ago.  There is something magic about the number three.  It has a rhythm to it that is easy to follow.  It helps you feel a sense of completeness when you accomplish three goals each week.  In the Direct Sales planner there are THREE squares to write in your three goals each week.

Vertical columns for appointments two-page spread.  Now, some of you love horizontal, but I’m a “vertical girl.”   Vertical columns help me write in my appointment times for every day…  I prefer not to have the time numbers so I can use my time blocking system to get things done.  Each week in the Direct Sales Planner is a two-week spread, so you can see your whole week happenings at a glance.   Here’s what I love, every Sunday I sync my week’s appointments with my phone, so I not only have them written down, I get a beep from my phone when it’s time for each appointment.

Using my Planner as a power generator for Follow-up.  I made you a little video on this one!  You’ll see how powerful this ACTION PLAN page is in the Direct Sales Planner that can have a huge impact on future business.

Inspiring stickers.   One of my favorite things about planning is adding stickers!  Stickers that brighten a planner makes you feel happy and fulfilled that you’re working on a successful business.  I get most of my stickers on Etsy and Amazon, and I put them in planner with INTENTION!   It’s my INTENTION to use the sticker

  • Work hard, dream big
  • One day at a Time
  • Make it Happen (I use this one a lot)
  • Be the Game Changer
  • Hustle

These are just a few along with my fun WASHI tape designs and HEARTS, HEARTS, Hearts!

Now, I’ve got you thinking about planning, right?  Yes, I LOVE TO PLAN, but most of all I love to help my coaching clients set up this structure.   It helps them (and me) know we are living a happy life as entrepreneurs having the freedom to choose when we work around our busy lifestyle using a PLANNER!

If you’re planner isn’t working for you, you can always change it up – we are only half way through the year.  Check out the DIRECT SALES PLANNER system here!
