blog 4 c's of team building

In my CALENDAR GIRLS Team Booking system, I teach leaders how to work with their team to voluntarily share their bookings every week in a team effort.   They don’t have to hound their team to report their bookings, they work with team members who are happy and positive and want to grow a profitable business.

This voluntary system is about the “value” in being part of a team effort and most of all what’s in it for everyone to belong to this spirit of success, working together as one unit.

I came up with the name “CALENDAR GIRLS” Team booking system when I saw the British movie called “Calendar Girls.” I don’t know if you had the chance to see it, but what I learned from this movie was “women friends working together, contributing to a greater cause, each gaining confidence in themselves, stepping out of their comfort zone and most of all supporting one another in an amazing friendship circle.”

This concept of working together, contributing to a greater goal, gaining confidence, working consistently and building incredible relationships and team camaraderie is the essence that built my own million dollar team working the CALENDAR GIRLS system.   I call these qualities the FOUR C’s of team building. Here’s how they work in the system.

Contribution. The leader shares a monthly TEAM booking goal and each member contributes their party dates to the TEAM calendar and the leader writes them in the CALENDAR workbook. The leader can tell “at a glance” who on her team is holding parties. To support and encourage her team to have successful parties the leader communicates consistently each week. The leader recognizes ALL successes, big and small, for each member’s contribution, and this brings everyone together knowing they belong to a great team who all work towards one common goal. The motto is everyone’s contribution COUNTS!

Confidence. When team members are rewarded for their efforts to the TEAM goal, it builds their confidence in holding parties.   Praise and recognition are huge factors in building self-esteem and confidence in team members. Of course, the big rewards for holding parties every week means team members are earning the money they want. This kind of support and recognition from the leader, helps them increase their party skills and gain their confidence.

Consistency. Team members who are consistent every week holding parties love the “cash flow” that grows financial security in their lives.   In the CALENDAR GIRLS System we recommend a six pack of parties ever month. This ritual brings income consistency. Then, holding consistent parties every week puts them in front of the “right” people to recruit and grow their own team and now NEW LEADERS are spinning off from everyone working with this unique booking system.

Camaraderie. With contribution, confidence and consistency, you have a team who builds supports each other and grows incredible friendships and camaraderie with each other. This inspires them to each grow a profitable business.   Most importantly, it is one of the KEY factors in attracting others to join the team! People love to belong to groups who are positive, successful and happy.

Do you have these FOUR C Team building qualities in your team?

These are the benefits of working with the CALENDAR GIRLS Team cg team buildingBooking system. Ask yourself these questions

  • How many on your team contribute to your team bookings?
  • Who are the team members who are confident in holding parties?
  • How many team members consistently hold parties and contribute every month?
  • What does the camaraderie look like on your team?

When you incorporate the FOUR C’S into leading your team and working with the CALENDAR GIRLS system, you’ll have a team who is ready to stay and grow with you. This is building retention, and with this retention you’ll begin to see shifts to increasing your team sales, bookings and recruiting.
