The busy season has arrived! The next 90 days is when retailers extend their store hours because they sell more during this time than any other time of the year.  Are you ready? Is your team ready for this brilliant time when people are ready to buy, book and look at an opportunity more than any other time of the year?   It is the highest selling and recruiting months of the year!  All the action you take right now in your business is making money and building growth.  So, prepare your team for this mega selling  time!

The next 90 days is the time of year to STEP ON THE GAS.  People are MORE ENGAGED!  They are smiling more, appreciating more, and selling more!  As a leader in direct sales, keep your team focused  and remind them that this next 90 days is the time of the year  to increase their business.

Here are FIVE quick ways for Leaders to increase business in the next 90 days!

1.  Encourage team members to hold a “Home for the Holidays” event.    Of course, there’ Black Friday, but you could schedule more than one of these events in the next 90 days.  Quick tips for this event are to Decorate your home, invite customers, friends and family.  Set up stations of gift sets around your home.  Hand everyone a gift-giving list when they enter your home.  Do several drawings throughout the event.  Make it special, add candles for atmosphere, serve holiday cookies and eggnog, and get everyone in the spirit.  Use social media to promote the event, or hold a special holiday virtual event!

2.  Teach team how to serve vs. Sell.  Serve the customer’s holiday shopping needs and be the solution for gifts for their family and friends.  Offer gift-wrapping service, Offer customers H.U.G.S.   These are Huge Urgent Gifts for last minute shopping.  Encourage team to have Holiday Hostess gifts and fill their booking calendar.  Invest in the CALENDAR GIRLS Team booking system and create  a team booking calendar. 3. Give the gift that keeps on giving.  Encourage team members to have a picture frame at checkout that says, “Hiring for the holidays. No experience needed.”  Excite them to take advantage of this busy time and share the business opportunity with many people during this time who are looking for a way to earn extra income at this time of year.  Incentivize your team to hold recruiting appointments every week.  Train your team how to use strategic posts in social media on the benefits of joining your team.

4. Grow new circles of business.  The next 90 days is the time for NEW CLIENTS!  Every week you’re meeting NEW people at holiday parties, office parties, social events.  Encourage team to participate in holiday bazaars, fairs and craft shows.  This is the time when people come out of the woodwork to look for holiday gifts.  Train them how to connect with their powerful success story introduction and build the “know, like and trust” relationship to follow up for business.

5.  Hold a Team Celebration. Schedule a special team celebration event at a restaurant, or make it a pot-luck at your home.  Recognize and celebrate all the significant activities and milestones reached during the year.  Have everyone bring a small gift and play a pass the gift game.  Share your team goals for the upcoming year and get them working together as one.  Team spirit is one of the essential agents to performance and success.

Be INTENTIONAL about increasing business over the next 90 days!  Encourage all team members to be active every day, show up on time, be flexible, connect with customers,  coach hostesses, approach new prospects, and promote holiday products on all social media outlets.

Keep reminding your team about the mantra in direct sales.  “When you  help others get what they want, you will have everything YOU want.”  And to be prepared for this in the next 90 day!
