December is one of the best months to have duplication adding new recruits to your team.     Duplication is when people on your team at all levels, both part time and full time are taking action. It basically means everyone on the team is duplicating  activities over and over to achieve successful results!

  • The activities of selling are high in December. People are in gift giving mode and your products are in hot demand.
  • The activities of booking are high in December.  People love getting together, attending holiday events and being a hostess to celebrate with friends.
  • The activities of recruiting are high in December.  People are interacting and looking for an opportunity to change things as we move into a new year.

When you work with your team on high activities in December, you’re setting the stage for a recruiting culture on your team and that’s when you have duplication.

Spread the word with your team to be ON ALERT as they move through December working on all these activities to be aware of the people who are looking for opportunity.

Then take it up a notch and offer your team these three ways to highlight duplication in December.

#1  Share Scripts to build confidence. Many team members are missing out on finding recruits because they simply don’t have the verbiage or know what to say.

Share with your team “how” to speak with a prospect at  in-home parties or “how” to write a script for a post in a facebook party.  This will give them confidence in building relationships with prime prospects.

I believe scripts are so important.  Success scripts help team members overcome being salesy or pushy and when you equip them with the right verbiage they take massive action.  A simple script to use at December parties might be…

I’m looking for people who are open to an opportunity for the new year!  December is a great month to start a business.  Would an extra $500 or $1,000 make a difference in your family’s finances right now?  Schedule a coffee chat with me and I’ll share reasons why “now” is the best time to join!”

Sharing scripts with your team right now in December will give them the confidence to make the OFFER and that creates massive duplication inside your team.

#2 Create a Duplicating Culture with 3-way zoom calls.  This was by far the most successful tool I used to grow my team.  Offering 3-way calls with team members and their prospects and you.  This is on-the-job training.  You set the guidelines. A 3-way call involves…

  1. Your Team Member (who wants to improve her skills at sharing the opportunity.
  2. Her Prospect (who wants to learn more about the opportunity.)
  3. You (who has the experience to share the opportunity and usually close the prospect.)

Clear time on your calendar and schedule available dates for your team members to contact their prospects.  As the leader, you are the expert at sharing and closing prospects to join your team.

The more 3-way conversations you schedule in December,  the more advantage you have to duplicating your team at a faster rate.

#3 Reward team for duplication activities Offer a meaningful incentive to your team in the month of December. Work on rewarding the activities of

  • Holding recruiting conversations with prospects.
  • Scheduling 3-way conversations with you.
  • Inviting prospects/guests to your opportunity events.
  • A BIG REWARD for every new recruit who joins in December.

 

The big rewards for the new team members joining in December are

  • The new business owner makes immediate sales sharing the new business with friends and family who will want to buy holiday gifts NOW!
  • IT’S the best socializing time of the year! The new recruit will meet old friends,  new friends, friends they haven’t seen in a while to share they’ve started a  new business.
  • If traveling for the holidays, it’s a great time to share the new business with family or friends.  
  • Attend team meetings at the end of the year and invite guests who might want to buy, book or join.
  • Experience selling the holiday gifts at great holiday prices – this experience helps set up  success in the new year..
  • Have the advantage of buying the products at a deep discount and tax deductible “gifts” for their own use. 

Duplication occurs when you keep things simple and focus on the activities of our business. It’s that increased activity that will lead to more people interested in knowing more about your products, and learning about your fantastic business opportunity.
