What pivotal planning steps will it take to change your business in 2020?

Let’s imagine you wake up with no plan written down.  You know (in your head) what you want to accomplish.

The kids are off to school and it’s time to sit down at your computer to get some work done!  After logging into social media, you scroll, you notice things, you make some comments and perhaps answer some questions.  Then, you write a few posts and now it’s noon and you’re hungry for lunch.  The morning is wasted.

How can planning change that?     

5 Pivotal Planning steps to help you PLAN 2020!

STEP 1 – You begin with a planner! 

Choosing a planner is very personal.   It’s important to know how you work!  Do you get inspired when you write things down?   Do you work mostly from your phone?  Think about your work day – and what prompts you to get things done.  I know for me, I use my physical planner to view the whole week and write down my to-do list.  When I do this I feel like my week will be productive and I won’t miss any important dead-lines.

STEP 2 –  You get into routines! 

The ONE ROUTINE I teach all my coaching clients is the Sunday Night Planning routine!   When you wake up Make a Pivotal Planning RoutineMonday morning and you’ve planned out your week you feel happy and optimistic.   Some people hate Mondays, but I LOVE Mondays because I do my Sunday Night Planning routine!  I actually have a checklist for my coaching clients.  This is offered when you join the 2020 Direct Sales Planner Hub.   Then we work on a morning routine, a daily routine and so our work is so inspiring we enjoy having these scheduled times to get things done.

STEP 3 – You create habits!

Habits drive you to TAKE ACTION!  We all know when you take action you get results.  Most of all you feel self assured because you know the action you’re taking will lead to future business  Some of the habits my coaching clients work on are

  • Being more intentional scheduling every day
  • Planning on 45 minutes blocks of time.
  • Reaching out to 3 customers every day.
  • Taking 30 minutes to read every day
  • Scheduling social media posts once a week

Schedule Time to Plan

STEP 4 –  You schedule time to plan. 

This refers back to Step 1 and 2 when you schedule a Sunday night planning routine.   You take the time WRITE IN YOUR PLANNER and it’s there very visible every Sunday night!

  • Planning your year gives you an overview of the path you want to take in 2020.

STEP 5 – You are Consistent.
