Where in the world is Gale? Coaching and training direct sellers in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
I was reminded this week when I published the “Mymentorbiz” Bulletin and wrote about milestones in life. I was thrilled to attend my youngest daughter’s graduation in Sydney Australia to receive her Masters in Letters, in Creative Writing. It was a great milestone for her in her career as a teacher and a poet.
We all have milestones in our business and when I posted an entry to Facebook about this, I received a wonderful response from other mothers. Linda Short, a leader in Direct Sales, witnessed her son’s graduation from college as magna cum laude! Linda said her commission checks paid for his college expenses over the 4 years so he didn’t have to get a part time job and could focus on his studies.
For some mothers the cash earned every week pays for groceries for the family. For others, it makes the difference for the children to attend a private school.
Most of all, I think, women in direct sales continue to be amazing role models to their family, to their children, to their communities. They are great influencers for everyone when they share a goal they achieved, or earn a company trip incentive, and are a major part of a team making a difference in others lives.
It’s important to share with others how your direct sales business makes a difference in your life. In today’s economy there are many mothers like you looking for a way to have a steady cash flow to help make ends meet or improve their family’s lives. They want and need to add to their family budget and still have the flexibility of being available for their kids when they come home from school. When they hear your story and realize this opportunity is available to them as well, they will want to join your team.
I’d love to hear how YOUR direct sales business is making a difference in your family’s life.
