Assume I am your CEO

Where in the world is Gale? Working in Seattle this week, enjoying the beauty of long summer days and balmy NW evenings.

One of the best gifts of being a direct sales entrepreneur is being your own boss, fitting your business around your family and home life. Direct Sales entrepreneurs have the ability to place an order online, prepare for a meeting, coach a new team member and prepare the family meals all at the same time, working out of your home office.
However, working from home does have its challenges. One is managing priorities and scheduling events or activities that requires effort now and not later. The words, "I'll do that later" can be a challenge to all home based entrepreneurs.
So, today, let’s assume I am your CEO and we are meeting for your annual review. How would you rate yourself with these questions?
· Are you calling your hostesses 3 times before every party?
· Is your opening story powerful enough for guests to want to know more?
· How many booking bids are you dropping at every party?
· Is your presentation simple, and makes people think, “I could do that too?”
· At your order desk do you always suggest an additional product?
· Are you interviewing every hostess before her party?
· Are you planting sponsorship seeds?
· Are you listening for reasons why people might want to join your team?
· How do you follow-up with guests and prospects after your party?
· How many times a week do you share your business opportunity over coffee?
· How many new customers are you attracting every month?
· When do you schedule customer care calls?
· How many times a week do you make customer care calls?
· Have you written a thank you note recently to a customer, hostess or team member?
· What type of communication plan do you have for your team?
· Do you love what you do?
How did you rate? Did you find some gaps in your business? Enjoy the freedom of being your own boss and being an entrepreneur in this great industry of direct sales. Share your comments below.
