Planting the "Dream Big" Recruiting seed at your Parties.
by Gale Bates www.mymentorbiz.com
Do you LOVE recruiting others into your business? I fell in love with recruiting when I realized I could develop a whole new group of friends. It was so much fun building a team and I wanted to built it as fast as possible. I developed a recruiting system that built a large front line of fun, active women. Part of that system encompassed two areas.
1. Planting Recruiting Seeds. 2. Listening
Planting recruiting seeds is essential at every party. At every party there are one or two women who fleetingly think about doing what you do. However, they quickly dismiss this thought as the party progresses and they focus on their product order. When you plant recruiting seeds throughout the party, you keep that thought alive in their mind and thus remind them that they just might want to do what you do. There are three important areas to plant your recruiting seeds.
1. Opening Talk when you share why you joined and why you stay, and at the end of your talk you simply say, "If you or someone you know is interested in earning some extra income, please talk to me later."
2. Getting to know your guests during the party. As you get to know your guests and you listen to them talking about their life, you might have an opportunity to say, "You might want to think about joining (your company.)"
3. At the Order desk you have the perfect opportunity to plant the seed by saying, "Suzie you were asking me lots of questions about my business, I'd love you to take this information packet home, look it over and we'll get together tomorrow."
Adding the DREAM BIG Recruiting seed. If you're truly serious about recruiting and you want to grow a team on the fast track, I recommend planting the "Dream Big" Recruiting seed on top of the other three.
Ladies, tonight I'd like to ask you three questions.
First question is, what would you do with an extra $500 a month? Go around the room and ask each guest to think off the top of her head what she'd do with an extra $500 a month. This gets them doing a little dreaming. They might talk about making a car payment, or paying off credit cards. Then ask,
Second question is, what would you do with an extra $500 a week? This builds the dream even more. You'll find guests smiling and thinking, so again ask each guest to give you an answer. They're doing a little calculating in their heads. $500 a week x 4 weeks is $2,000 a month. The answers now get a little bigger. "I'd remodel my kitchen," or "I'd save it for a trip to Paris."
Third question is, here's the big one...what would you do with an extra $500 a DAY? Now, they're really dreaming big, and the calculations are clicking over in their heads. $500 x 30 days, that's $15,000 a month! You'll hear husbands can quit their jobs, and now they'll remodel the whole house! Then, you want to add
Well ladies, that's the reason I joined (your company.) Women in the Direct Sales Industry earn $500 a month and $500 a week and $500 a day! It's all possible, so if you would like to come along and have fun with me, or you're interested in earning great extra income, let's talk after the party!
This recruiting seed has a profound effect on many women. Again, it's keeping that thought in her head where she thinks she could do what you do. LISTEN! Listen to the answers, listen to the fun comments and listen to each person's answer to the dream questions. Which of these guests is a great prospect for your business. When you identify her, make sure you hand her a Business Information packet at the order desk and follow up the next day.
Plant recruiting seeds at your parties and listen to women's chatter. At every party there are three prospects waiting for you to keep that fleeting thought alive in her brain that says, "I could do what she does."
